China News Service, August 15. According to Taiwan's United News Network, a 33-story building site under construction in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan caught fire in the early morning today (15th). After 40 minutes successfully extinguished.

The fire seemed to be accompanied by an explosion, and some people woke up from their sleep and called the police.

  The New Taipei City Fire Department received a report at 2:58 a.m. on the 15th that there was a fire on Dahan Street. It was confirmed that the scene was a fire at the RC steel-frame construction site (33 floors above ground and 3 floors underground) for unknown reasons. 29 fire trucks were mobilized, including 3 ladder trucks. and 83 firefighters.

  The fire was brought under control at 3:22 a.m. and extinguished at 3:39 a.m. After investigation, the burning area was 100 square meters on the first and second floors, and 50 square meters on the ninth floor. No one, no one injured, only property damage.

The detailed cause of the fire is yet to be further clarified.
