White House: Biden intends to run for second term in 2024 despite record low approval ratings

On August 14, local time, White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre responded to the recent polls in which Biden’s approval rating hit a record low.

Jean-Pierre said inflation and high costs were "top priorities" for the White House to address.

She said the Inflation Reduction Act would effectively ease the economic hardship the American people are facing.

In addition, Jean-Pierre also re-emphasized that Biden still intends to run for a second presidential term in 2024, despite his record low support for re-election.
