The alarm came in just before 7pm on Sunday evening and the police and ambulance arrived at the scene at 7.20pm.
- We have just arrived there and received information that both drivers are injured, says Evelina Olsson, police spokesperson.
The extent of the injuries to the two drivers is still unclear.
The emergency services have closed the road in both directions.
According to the Swedish Transport Agency, the forecast is that the road should be open again around 9 p.m., but it may be closed again in connection with recovery.
- At least one person has been taken to hospital by ambulance, but there are two ambulances that are loaded.
At the moment, however, it does not necessarily mean that there are two people who are taken to hospital, says Sören Gustavsson at SOS Alarm.
