Xinhua News Agency, Damascus, August 13. According to a report by the Syrian News Agency on the 13th, the US military transferred a batch of oil stolen from northeastern Syria to Iraq on the same day.

The Syrian news agency quoted local sources as saying that the US military sent a convoy of 89 oil tankers that day to transfer oil stolen from Syria to US military bases in Iraq through "illegal" border crossings.

According to the report, the US military used 144 oil tankers in a similar way to transfer stolen oil on the 11th.

At present, many places in northeastern Syria are controlled by the "Syrian Democratic Army", which is mainly led by the Syrian Kurdish armed "People's Protection Forces" and is supported by the US-led international coalition against the extremist organization "Islamic State".

In recent years, the Syrian government has repeatedly accused the US military of stealing and transshipping oil in northeastern Syria.
