"Some time ago... a terrorist suspected of last night's attack in the Old City of Jerusalem surrendered and handed over the weapon he was believed to have used in the shooting," the Twitter statement said.
Earlier it became known that as a result of the shelling of a bus in Jerusalem, seven people were injured, two are in critical condition.
