On May 28, the man in his 40s raises the SOS alarm.
He says that his friend cut himself with a knife in a home in Vilhelmina.
The ambulance goes to the scene and the injured man is taken to the infirmary in Vilhelmina.
The man had puncture wounds in his abdomen and a lung had been punctured.
The police go to the residence and search the house.
The man in his 40s was arrested there.
The police see bloodstains in the home and several knives are confiscated.
“It went so fast”
The victim has told police interviews that he and three friends took drugs from his apartment.
One of the friends then became angry and attacked with a knife.
- It went so quickly.
He was standing two or three meters away from me, I don't remember what he said, I said something.
I don't remember if he got annoyed, but then he stabbed me with the knife, says the injured man during interrogation and tells:
- I thought I was going to die.
Now the man in his 40s is charged at Lycksele district court on suspicion of attempted murder.
The trial in the case starts on Monday.
The man denies any wrongdoing.
- I am not a violent person, he says in questioning.
