Egyptian Health: 41 deaths in the Giza church fire

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the death of 41 people and the injury of 12, in the fire incident that occurred this morning in a church in Giza Governorate.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, confirmed that the ambulances that were dispatched to the scene of the accident amounted to 37 cars, and 55 cases were transferred to Imbaba General Hospitals and Agouza.

He pointed to raising the state of readiness in the hospitals in Giza and Cairo governorates, stressing the availability of all blood types and emergency medicines in all hospitals that received the injured.
