• Citizens Policy accelerates its refoundation: "We are willing to create new acronyms that endure"

  • Renewed program Arrimadas will not resign and organizes a tour of Spain in the fall and an internal referendum after Christmas

The G-8 for the refoundation of Ciudadanos hits the road.

It will start a listening process throughout

Spain with the aim of "plugging in each affiliate and supporter" with the new era that the

orange

party wants to open

.

"There is not going to be anyone who has an idea that is not going to be heard", they assure from this team made up of eight people, to whom Inés Arrimadas has entrusted the mission of leading the changes that will culminate in early 2023 with a very renovated and with a new electoral brand.

The tour will begin in September and the internal forecast is that it will last at least throughout the fall.

The eight members of this promoter team -Begoña Villacís,

Guillermo Díaz, Adrián Vázquez, Patricia Guasp, Mariano Fuentes, María Muñoz, Dimas Gragera

and

Eva Masías

- will distribute the different areas of Spain to comb the entire country and that there is no left, they say , an affiliate or an "untouched" supporter.

This is the next phase of the refoundation: address a process of listening and reflection that Ciudadanos already launched during the month of July with their positions.

On the 16th and 23rd, meetings were held with councilors, mayors and leaders in which the party was opened in channel to talk about the ideology and the program lines that should be part of the new Ciudadanos.

Quite a few of them will emerge as new political flags of space.

The G-8 tour wants to replicate the work that was already done with the party's officials to "lower them into the territory."

“That everyone has the opportunity to say an idea.

Let no one feel that they have not been heard », he emphasizes.

It will be a tour so that "everyone has the opportunity to say an idea"

With the charges, tables were established with work dynamics to expose and channel the conclusions of what Citizens want to be.

From there “many things” arose and now they will seek to do the same with the bases that want to enlist to help.

Right now there are more than 2,000 people registered to participate in the refoundation work.

One of the central points of this listening process is to complete a very extensive questionnaire, which takes more than an hour to fill out, where everything is asked to really know how the party bases breathe and where they aspire to lead the future.

On the other hand, five working groups have already been created to focus on the tasks and request the participation of the militancy.

They are organic functioning and participation;

freedoms, territorial model and regeneration;

economic policies, energy and digitization;

social policies and environment;

and

Europe

and foreign affairs.

Similarly, a space for dialogue has been opened with liberal and centrist intellectuals and personalities through the foundation of Ciudadanos.

They are also invited to participate in the refoundation by contributing their vision and ideas to enrich the total debate.

Regarding the name change, there is no news.

And, given how complicated it is, they choose to park the issue and leave it for last.
