Seven people on vacation have been swept away by rapids in a valley in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.



Today (14th), according to Chinese media such as Shin Shinbo, a large amount of fire suddenly poured down a valley in Chengdu at around 3:30 pm yesterday, and 7 residents who were enjoying their summer vacation were swept away by the rapids, killing 3 people and injuring 3 others.



In a video released by Chinese media, a man shouted at the residents to evacuate quickly, and after a while, a huge amount of water poured down from the top of the valley.



The dizzying figure of a man who could not evacuate out of the valley holding a small child on a rock and waiting for rescue was also captured in the video.



An eyewitness told the Chinese media at the time, "About 10 seconds after I was told to evacuate, a huge amount of water came down from the top of the mountain."
