The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a group of five tourists requested help in the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria

This was informed by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

“There was a message that in the Elbrus region, at the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions pass at an altitude of 3,800 m, a registered group of five people asked for help,” the report says.

It is noted that, according to preliminary data, one person was injured.

A group of eight rescuers from the Elbrus Alpine Search and Rescue Team of the Russian Emergencies Ministry went to the scene of the incident.

In April, it was reported that as a result of the fall of tourists in the upper reaches of the Munku-Sardyk mountain in Buryatia, one person died and another was injured.
