He noted that the position regarding the massive supply of Western weapons to Kyiv was clearly outlined by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov.

“Pumping Ukraine with more long-range weapons systems will lead to the fact that the geographical objectives of the special operation will be pushed back even further,” Darchiev warned.

Darchiev also believes that the United States should force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to return to the negotiating table with Russia in order to avoid a humiliating defeat.

In July, Lavrov said in an interview with RT and RIA Novosti that the geographical objectives of the special military operation in Ukraine had changed.

The minister noted that as the West pumps more and more long-range weapons into Ukraine, such as HIMARS, the geographical objectives of the special operation will move even further from the current line.
