“Over the past day, 83 forest fires on an area of ​​101,338 hectares have been extinguished in Russia,” RIA Novosti reports.

It is specified that there are 104 forest fires on the territory of the country on an area of ​​191,148 hectares.

Earlier it was reported that in the Nizhny Novgorod region from August 9 to 15, the fourth class of forest fire hazard will operate.
