According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the meeting took place on August 13.

“During the talks, the current state and prospects for the development of military and military-technical cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as security issues in the Central Asian region, were discussed in detail,” the defense ministry said.

Earlier, the head of the department of international military cooperation of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense, Valery Revenko, said that Belarus is ready to cooperate with NATO in certain areas, but taking into account strategic relations with Russia.
