“Izvestia employees Ksenia Soldatova and Dmitry Timofeev were released from the police station in the Estonian city of Jyhvi,” the publication said in a Telegram statement.

It is noted that the film crew was taken to the Narva checkpoint, at the moment the journalists are heading to Russia.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the Russian embassy in Tallinn is keeping the situation with the detention of Izvestia employees in Estonia under control.
