Federal agents who searched former US President Donald Trump's Florida residence this week seized

a significant number of classified documents,

according to a court order released Friday.

According to the search warrant and the inventory of what was seized in the raid, the United States Attorney's Office asked a judge to allow the search of Trump's home in Florida, alleging the

possible violation of the Espionage Act

by the former president by stealing 'top secret' documents when leaving the White House.

This is stated in the search warrant and in the inventory of what was seized in the raid that the FBI made last Monday at Mar-a-Lago, which are already public once the US Attorney General,

Merrick Garland

, asked that they stop to be under gag order and that Trump himself has not objected.
