According to the Syrian News Agency, on the 11th local time, the illegal U.S. troops stationed in Syria used 144 oil tankers, full of oil stolen from northeastern Syria, to travel to Iraq through the illegal border crossing in northeastern Hasakah province.

It is understood that this is the third time this month that the illegal U.S. troops stationed in Syria smuggled Syrian oil.

The Syrian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources issued a statement on the 9th of this month accusing the US military of stealing Syrian oil. The statement said that Syria’s oil production in the first half of 2022 is about 14.5 million barrels, with an average daily output of about 80,300 barrels.

The US military steals as much as 66,000 barrels of oil from northeastern Syria every day, which is about 83% of Syria's daily oil production.

According to reports, in July this year alone, there were at least four incidents of U.S. military transshipment and illegal extraction of Syrian oil, and nearly 200 oil tankers filled with oil were transferred out of Syria by the U.S. military.

Syria and Russia have repeatedly accused the U.S. military of stealing and transshipping oil in northeastern Syria.

At present, the United States still occupies a large area of northeastern Syria and controls 90% of Syria's oil resources.

By supporting local rebels, the United States continues to steal Syria's oil, food and other resources, which has seriously aggravated Syria's energy and food crisis.
