At about 12:20 local time on the 12th, an F-4E fighter jet of the South Korean Air Force crashed in the sea west of Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The two pilots on the plane escaped with no life danger.
The South Korean Air Force stated that the crashed plane took off from the Air Force Suwon Base at about 11:40 this morning and crashed on the way back to the base after the end of the mission. The Air Force is confirming the cause of the accident.
