As sources from Salvamento, 112 and the Red Cross have informed Efe, it is

a six-year-old boy who stopped

and was able to be revived.

He was initially evacuated along with the pregnant woman to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife and this morning they will urgently transfer him to Gran Canaria.

The Guardamar Polimnia rescued five boats and the Salvamar Al Nair another two, with this provisional count of occupants: 34, 25, 44, 57, 60, 51 and 38 people.

All of them are in the port of Arrecife, receiving the first medical assistance.

To the 309 people transferred to the port and the eight collected, there are

another 15 who also arrived in Lanzarote at night

and disembarked on their own at Los Cocoteros beach, as well as a ninth boat in whose help the Salvamar Al Nair sails .

The most dramatic rescue occurred around 0:30 a.m., after a merchant ship that had been sent to help an inflatable boat

115 kilometers from Arrecife

, the container ship Maersk Roubaix, reported that there were people in the water.

The Helimer 206 helicopter arrived in time to rescue them and evacuated seven adults (including the pregnant woman) and the child who was in the worst condition to Lanzarote.

The rest of the occupants of that inflatable were picked up by Guardamar Polimnia, who arrived at the port around 7:00 in the morning with 218 people from five different rescues.

At the moment, there is no detailed count of the number of men, women and children rescued, nor information on their health status.
