Sadio Camara and Christine Lambrecht spoke by telephone on Thursday and the Malian minister then authorized the flight scheduled for Friday as part of the UN mission.

Actions and words that do not go in the same direction, therefore denounced his German counterpart to the press of his country this morning, which therefore leads to the suspension of German operations in Mali.

The German army will therefore no longer be able to support Minusma operations.

Its presence in Mali will now be limited to missions to secure its own soldiers, Berlin announced on Friday.

A significant operational loss for the Minusma of which it is one of the main contributors.

This is not the first time that Bamako has forbidden access to its airspace to a Minusma device.

The last refusal dates back to July 14.

The Malian junta then

suspended all rotations of the

UN mission.

Decision which followed the arrest on July 10 of

49 Ivorian soldiers in Bamako

.

Soldiers that Abidjan presented as national support elements for the Minusma troops.
