Defense Minister Kishisaki, who retired due to the Cabinet reshuffle, attended the Ministry of Defense's farewell ceremony and said that this year would be a crucial year for the drastic strengthening of defense capabilities, and that the whole ministry would work together to realize it. I encouraged them to work on it.

Defense Minister Kishisaki gave a greeting in front of about 100 officials from the Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces, saying, "This year is a very important year for the Ministry of Defense. Securing the budget for the drastic strengthening of the government is now at a critical moment."

In addition, he said, "In order to maintain the peace and stability of our country, which is placed in the most severe security environment in the international community, we will not exclude all options, including the so-called 'counterattack capability,' and will hold firm discussions with the people. I would like the entire ministry to work together to achieve this, in order to ensure the peaceful lives of all.”

On the other hand, Minister Kishisaki said, ``I think that I have caused many unnecessary things and worries since my leg got sick.I would like to apologize and thank you.''

After receiving the salute of honor from the SDF, Minister Kishisaki left the Ministry of Defense while repeatedly saying "thank you very much" to the applause of many staff members who sent him off.
