Zakharova commented on the appeal of British Foreign Minister Truss to China

Truss said earlier that the UK urges China to urgently resolve all differences over Taiwan through peaceful means, without the threat of force or coercion.

She said she instructed officials to call the Chinese ambassador to explain his country's actions.

On August 10, it became known that Chinese Ambassador Zheng Zeguang was summoned to the British Foreign Office because of Beijing's actions and statements regarding Taiwan.
