It was earlier this week that the fishing group went out with the raft to fish in Lake Rappen.
When they were out on the water, a large sea eagle suddenly appeared and watched over them for a long time.
"It clicked right away"
After a while, the party caught a perch that they chose to throw back into the water - and the eagle did not hesitate for a second.
- When we threw the perch, it came right away and grabbed it, says Fredrik Larsson, who captured the eagle's catch on video.
Larsson says that he has seen eagles before - but from afar.
He estimates it flew between two and three meters in front of the raft.
- Never seen them come so close.
"Usually take waste fish"
Most likely, it is an old eagle that is usually in the area that showed itself to the party.
Residents in the area have told us that it is not the first time that it tends to sneak away some food scraps.
- When they take up nets, it usually comes and takes waste fish, says Fredrik Larsson.
