Donald Trump posted a message on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday, August 10, suggesting that US federal police officers may have "

 placed

" evidence against him at his Mar-a-Lago residence.

There is no evidence to support these remarks, but Donald Trump relies on the fact that no one, not even his lawyers, was authorized to be present during the search.

The absence of witnesses during an intervention by the FBI is however the norm, reply the American experts.

The theory that the FBI may have hidden evidence against Donald Trump during the search of the former president's home started from an anonymous right-wing Twitter account.

She had started circulating on social networks on Monday evening.

It had been amplified by Alina Habba, Donald Trump's lawyer, on Fox News: “

I am worried that they could have hidden something.

Who knows ?

I don't trust the government and for an American, that's scary!

It's stuff from the third world, from Cuba!

Our country is not like that.

This Wednesday, Fox News, which for a time seemed to have turned its back on Donald Trump, continues interviews on the subject with elected Republicans, including Senator Rand Paul: "

How can I be sure that they have not placed anything in the boxes they brought back from Mar-a-Lago

?

They have lost our trust

 ”.

The elected Republican Greg Steube, member of the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives, even denounces the "

police state of Joe Biden who is waging war against conservatives

 ".

A former federal prosecutor, Ron Filipkowski, replies on Twitter: “

Nothing could better confirm Trump's guilt than his suggestion that the FBI planted false evidence.

He got caught and he knows it

.

He knows what he had.

He knows what they took.

And he knows he is guilty.
