In order to cope with the drought caused by the continuous high temperature, sunny and hot weather in the southern region, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters (National Defense General) decided to start the four-level drought resistance for 6 provinces and cities including Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi and Anhui at 18:00 on the 11th. In emergency response, relevant areas are required to strengthen the unified management of drought-resistant water sources, implement emergency water supply measures in detail, organize water delivery when necessary, ensure drinking safety, and strive to ensure water demand for industrial and agricultural production.
