The announcement came last week and, according to GP, it concerns approximately 150 students who are forced to leave due to problems with the economy.

The Römosses schools have not received any school money during the spring semester, something that SVT Nyheter Väst previously reported on.

80 percent of the workforce has also been notified ahead of the autumn.

As a last resort, the school has offered the municipality to deposit the school money into the tax account.

The elementary school committee in the municipality will take a decision on that this week.

Darvik (L): "Standing ready to receive the students"

Axel Darvik (L), chairman of the elementary school board, tells GP that the students who are allowed to leave the school should be given places in other schools.

- We are ready to receive the students from Römosseskolan, says Axel Darvik (L), chairman of the elementary school board about the announcement that students are now forced to change schools.

The school's former principal was sentenced earlier this year to 4.5 years in prison for gross embezzlement and the association that runs the school was also sentenced, but the court forgave the company fine because it was considered that the children would not suffer for what a former principal had done.
