“Not only were these sanctions illegally introduced, they also actually took away your property ... This should not go unpunished,” he said.

Lukashenka urged the country's government to consider measures that can be taken in the near future and in the medium term.

“No one is allowed to take away, squeeze out property,” he stressed.

Earlier, the director of the Belarus sanatorium in the Lithuanian city of Druskininkai, Ilya Epifanov, said that the Lithuanian authorities do not issue visas for children from Belarus.
