At the end of last month, documents inside the presidential office that analyzed rallies and protests near the Yongsan Presidential Office were leaked to the outside.

The document contained the content that the union between civic groups and labor unions leading the demonstrations and demonstrations should be prevented.

A high-ranking official at the presidential office explained, "This document was written by an administrative agent like a study, and the chief or secretary did not receive a report on the contents."

However, the Office of the Secretary for Public Service Discipline in the Office of the President determined that the document leak was a security incident, and initiated an inspection of the secretary in charge of the Senior Office of Civil Society, to which the administrative staff belonged.

Then, although the secretary was not a party to the document leak, he reported the opinion that a 'dismissal' was necessary by holding the staff accountable.

A high-ranking official at the presidential office said, "We will hold a personnel committee to examine the degree of wrongdoing and make a comprehensive judgment."

It was confirmed that the presidential office recently dismissed an administrative agent who was involved in the leak of documents and also received a resignation from an administrative officer who caused controversy by concurrently serving as an in-house director of an external company.

A high-ranking official at the presidential office said, "I plan to strengthen the discipline of the presidential office by applying the principle of zero tolerance."

It is interpreted as an intention to try to reverse the atmosphere by correcting the internal discipline from the start of the decline in approval ratings.

However, after the voluntary resignation of former Deputy Prime Minister Park Soon-ae, there have been continued criticisms of the need for a complete personnel reorganization in the presidential office.

The staff is in an atmosphere of reverence, saying that the reform of the people is entirely the president's will.
