“The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow received a petition from the investigating authorities to elect a measure of restraint in the form of detention in absentia against a German citizen Fabian Kroicher ... He was put on the wanted list,” TASS quotes a statement.
It is noted that a German citizen is accused of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art.
159 of the Criminal Code of Russia (large-scale fraud).
Earlier, the Moscow City Court recognized as lawful the choice of arrest in absentia against Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon*.
