Nine people suspected of belonging to the drug trafficking network in Ile-de-France called "Caliweed" were indicted at the end of June in Paris, AFP learned on Tuesday from a judicial source and confirming information from the Parisian.

Eight of them were placed in pre-trial detention and the last under judicial supervision, according to the same source.

A man nicknamed "Vivi" or "the Fat" and belonging to the network would have sponsored for about a year, drug trafficking in the Paris region, but also in the Oise, Eure and Loiret.

All for a monthly turnover estimated at 1.3 million euros, according to

A network promoted by Mister You

This network had built its success by selling cannabis imported from Spain or California and packaged in “pretty boxes” stamped “Caliweed” or “Haribeuh”.

All accompanied by goodies and delivered discreetly.

Part of the Caliweed network had been dismantled two years ago, but therefore seems to be continuing.

Twenty people were sentenced at the end of June in Créteil to terms ranging from 12 months to 10 years in prison.

He had notably benefited from the promotion made on social networks by rapper Mister You, sentenced on appeal for these facts in 2021 to 24 months in prison.
