The Hungarian Oil and Gas Company said on the 10th that it has paid Ukraine transit fees to ensure that Russian oil can continue to be transported to Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic via the southern route of the "Friendship" oil pipeline.

The Hungarian Oil and Gas Company issued a statement on the same day saying that after negotiating with relevant parties in Ukraine and Russia on resuming the transportation of the southern route of the "Friendship" oil pipeline, the company paid the transit fee for the use of the Ukrainian section of the "Friendship" oil pipeline. The line is ready to be restarted.

The company later confirmed that Rosneft had begun transportation through the pipeline and would arrive in Hungary on the 11th.

Russia's oil pipeline transportation company issued a notice on the 9th that Ukraine has banned Russian oil from the southern route of the "Friendship" oil pipeline transiting Ukraine to Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic since August 4.

Due to the financial sanctions imposed by the European Union, the company was unable to pay the transit fee to the Uzbek side, and the previously paid transit fee has been returned.

The Ukrainian Oil Transportation Company has decided to stop providing oil transportation services on the grounds that it has not received transit fees.
