G7 foreign ministers urged Russia to transfer control over Zaporozhye nuclear power plant to Ukraine

The statement says that this is necessary "to ensure their safe and reliable operation."

“Ukrainian personnel responsible for the operation of the Zaporozhye NPP should be able to perform their duties without threats and pressure,” the document says.

Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said earlier that the Ukrainian military deliberately shelled the ZNPP, trying to force Russia to withdraw its military from there.
