“We have seen increasingly aggressive behavior and rhetoric from Beijing in recent months that threaten peace and stability in the region.

The UK calls on China to urgently resolve all differences by peaceful means, without the threat of force or coercion," TASS quoted a statement released on behalf of British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.

Earlier, the Chinese Ministry of Defense said that the Taiwan administration must make the "right choice" regarding the future with China. 

The authorities of the People's Republic of China also did not rule out a military scenario against Taiwan if peaceful reunification with the island fails.
