Britain is preparing for a heat wave

Britain is bracing for several days of scorching temperatures in the country's latest heatwave, with millions of people facing a hose ban in the coming weeks.

The Met Office issued a four-day heat warning for parts of England and Wales from Thursday to Sunday, with temperatures expected to rise to 35 degrees Celsius and even 36 degrees in some areas, according to the British news agency (PA Media).

Vulnerable and at-risk groups and those requiring special care are likely to suffer health effects from the heat.
