China News Service, Beijing, August 9th (Ma Shuisha) At 12:11 on August 9th, Beijing time, the Ceres-1 Yaosan carrier rocket was launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China, and the Taijing-1 01 will be carried. A total of 3 satellites of /02 satellite and Donghai-1 satellite were successfully put into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.

This mission achieved three consecutive successful launches of the Ceres-1 carrier rocket, setting a new record for the development of private rockets in China.

The Ceres-1 launch vehicle is a four-stage light commercial launch vehicle independently developed by Galaxy Power Space Technology Co., Ltd. The first, second and third stages use solid power, and the fourth stage uses integrated liquid power for orbit control and attitude control.

The rocket has a diameter of 1.4 meters, a total length of about 20 meters, a take-off weight of about 33 tons, and a maximum capacity of 300 kilograms in a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit. It can provide domestic and foreign satellite customers with customized launch services for microsatellites.

At 12:11 on August 9th, Beijing time, the Ceres-1 Yao-3 carrier rocket was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and the three satellites, Taijing-1 01/02 satellite and Donghai-1 satellite, were successfully delivered. The launch mission was a complete success.

This mission is the third flight of the Ceres-1 launch vehicle.

On November 7, 2020, the Ceres-1 carrier rocket successfully made its maiden flight. This is the first time that a Chinese private commercial rocket has entered a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit.

On December 7, 2021, the Ceres-1 Yao-2 carrier rocket was successfully launched, achieving a new breakthrough for the first consecutive success of a Chinese private rocket and the first commercial launch of multiple satellites with one arrow.

The success of this launch marks the beginning of the Ceres-1 carrier rocket from success to maturity, taking the lead in entering a new stage of large-scale commercial launch and delivery of private rocket models.

The Ceres-1 rocket launched a total of three commercial satellites.

The Taijing-1 01/02 satellite was developed by Beijing Micro-Nano Star Technology Co., Ltd., and is mainly used to provide commercial remote sensing services; the Donghai-1 satellite was developed by Shanghai Eyes Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., mainly used to verify micro-miniature polarized light cameras. Multi-modal remote sensing detection technology.
