On a forest walk in Blåningsmåla, the Greek tortoise was found.

But who his owner is, nobody seems to know.

Last week, P4 Blekinge first reported on Rödeby resident Emma Karlsson who searched for the turtle's rightful owner.

Since then, several calls have reached her - both from people who thought it was their turtle, but also from people who wanted to take the animal over.

- It is both an easy and not so easy animal to have.

In order for them to have the best possible time, it is important that you are knowledgeable, says Emma Karlsson, who herself has several turtles of the same variety as Åke.

Will be allowed to live with two females

Now a knowledgeable person has been found and on Wednesday Åke will have a health check at the vet before he can move on.

If he is healthy, he will be allowed to live together with two Greek females with his new owner in Karlskrona, who grew up with turtles and currently has around 20 at home.

- I think it's great and for Åkes, he would like someone who has more time for him and can help him in the best way, says Emma Karlsson.
