The Renaissance group fears the return to the National Assembly, which will take place at the beginning of next October.

Without its tenors Richard Ferrand or Christophe Castaner, eliminated in the legislative elections, the macronie knows it is expected on pension and unemployment insurance reforms, which forces the government to raise its voice.

TO ANALYSE

Before the holidays, the new legislature was trying for parliamentarians with the vote on the purchasing power package examined for three long weeks, day and night.

But they will have time to rest: the resumption of work will not take place until October 3, a first in 20 years.

A late date which should in particular allow the presidential majority to better prepare the major reforms to come, such as those of pensions and unemployment insurance.

A comeback that promises to be eventful for the Renaissance group.

A weakened group in the Assembly

Without its tenors Richard Ferrand, Amélie de Montchalin or Christophe Castaner, all three beaten in the last legislative elections, the majority parliamentary group is suffering in the National Assembly.

This is why the government is forced to step up.

This is the case of Olivier Dussopt, who raised his voice.

"These two reforms are crucial. When things are going well, we tighten the rules," he said.

The other urgent project for the macronie is to vote the budget with the right.

For this, it will be necessary to convince the Republican deputies.

The challenge is immense because the opposition traditionally votes against and in this case, the dissolution risks being imposed.

The future is therefore brighter for the majority, which seeks to impose itself against the National Rally and the Nupes.

Since June, the new faces of the opposition have emerged en masse while the president's allies remain invisible.
