In Ukraine, they announced an investigation into the organization of a referendum in the Zaporozhye region

“The Zaporozhye Regional Prosecutor’s Office provides procedural guidance in a criminal case on the facts of preparation for an encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine,” the department’s Telegram channel said.

On August 8, the head of the Zaporozhye region, Evgeny Balitsky, signed an order to hold a referendum on the reunification of the region with Russia.
