An individual was arrested and placed in police custody this Tuesday morning in Toulouse, after having run into the police who had to use their firearms to stop him, reports

It all started during a police check, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, avenue Honoré-Serre in Toulouse.

Refusing to comply, a motorist deliberately crashed into a police vehicle, slightly injuring three BAC police officers.

It was by turning around on the A64 that the individual was intercepted by other police officers from the left bank BAC, who had to use their firearms twice while the motorist headed towards them.

He was not injured and was taken into custody.
