“A long-range high-precision sea-based weapon hit a large ammunition depot near the settlement of Uman, Cherkasy region.
More than three hundred rockets for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, as well as a large amount of ammunition for American M777 howitzers, were destroyed, ”Konashenkov said.
In addition, a strike by high-precision long-range air-launched missiles destroyed the "operating buried command post of the Ukrainian air forces", which was located in the Voronovitsa region of the Vinnitsa region.
In addition, during the offensive operations of the Russian Armed Forces, the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 14th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost its combat capability.

As part of the counter-battery fight, two artillery batteries were hit, including American M777A2 howitzers, while aviation, missile troops and artillery of the RF Armed Forces struck at two command posts, three warehouses, as well as on manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the 123rd areas.
At the same time, Russian air defense systems shot down one Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft, three drones, and also intercepted 17 shells of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.

“In almost four weeks, from July 8 to August 5, as a result of the offensive actions of the Russian Armed Forces and units of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, the number of mercenaries in Ukraine decreased from 2,741 to 2,192,” Konashenkov said.
A ministry spokesman also indicated that 175 more "soldiers of fortune" have arrived in Ukraine in recent weeks, including 81 militants from Georgia.
At the same time, "the number of arriving mercenaries does not cover the losses in their ranks."
So, during this time period, 335 foreign fighters were liquidated, another 389 left Ukrainian territory.
According to him, Poland is in the lead "in terms of the rate of loss of mercenaries": 99 - destroyed, 146 - left the Ukrainian territory.
Also, over the past weeks, 36 mercenaries from Canada, 33 from Romania, 21 from the United States were eliminated.

“There are no prerequisites for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky”
