The police had earlier in the day been to the address in Kungsbacka as a result of an argument between the spouses.
The patrol left the residence and was then alerted there again.
The spouses, who were both drunk, were in the home at the time.
The woman tells the patrol on the spot that she was tired of her husband and therefore attacked with a knife.
According to the police interrogation, the spouses often argued.
The man survived without serious injuries but was taken to hospital.
Earlier, the woman allegedly also hit her husband in the head with a flashlight, therefore she is also charged with assault.
The incident took place in early July.
According to the indictment, the woman denies attempted murder.
