Users in Säffle had to wear dirty clothes for several months

It was on the second of August that it was discovered that the user had not had his clothes washed for several months.

The last wash had been done on the ninth of May.

The discovery resulted in a lex Sarah report and the municipality must now investigate how the laundry could have been missed for so long.

- A wash was booked immediately and we are going through this with the staff so that it doesn't happen again, says head of department Marie Edling.

Laundry has been forgotten before

The home service in Säffle has failed to ensure that users' clothes are washed, and according to Marie Edling, the municipality created a new routine for laundry last year.

- There is a routine.

Now we will investigate why it has been missed again and if we need to, we will take further measures, says Marie Edling.
