The Prosecutor General's Office conducts an audit of the FIU in connection with cases of denial of social benefits in the regions

It is noted that earlier appeals from residents of the Krasnodar Territory were considered, challenging the refusal to assign a monthly cash payment to children aged 8 to 17 years.

“The prosecutors found that the regional branch of the fund made a technical error when considering applications.

The amounts of social pensions received by families were taken into account twice.

The income of families was unreasonably high, and the calculations made automatically were incorrect, ”the Prosecutor General’s Office said.

As a result, the decisions made have been reviewed, and payments to families have been assigned.

“In addition, a review of all decisions previously made by the department was organized with reference to the excess of the family income level.

As a result, 1048 unlawful decisions were uncovered, which were changed, the rights of the inhabitants of the region were restored.

Three officials of the territorial branch of the fund have been brought to disciplinary responsibility," the statement said.

The Prosecutor General's Office emphasized that, given the widespread nature of such violations, it was decided to check the work of the FIU.

In May, it was reported that payments to families with low incomes were transferred to 1.6 million children from 8 to 17 years old, the total amount was 24.3 billion rubles.
