The National Police investigates the rape of a woman in Ontinyent on Sunday morning

The

investigates the rape reported by a 32-year-old woman in

(Valencia) this Sunday, around 5:30 a.m., when she was returning home after going out with some friends by a man who chased her until he approached her in the portal of his House.

The woman was able to get rid of the aggressor and ask for help to accompany her to the hospital, where she was examined by a coroner.

After becoming aware of what happened, the local National Police agents detained and questioned an 18-year-old boy as allegedly responsible for that violation, but he has finally been released without even going to court.

The investigation now focuses on the data provided by the girl as well as the review of the security cameras around the building.

Several social groups in the town have called this afternoon for a rally against sexual violence and in support of the victim.
