A fire started at the end of the afternoon in a forest located between Lozère and Aveyron.

For the moment, nearly 300 hectares have gone up in smoke according to "Centre Presse".

A violent fire is currently ravaging a forest located between Lozère and Aveyron.

, the flames started at the end of the afternoon, around 5.30 p.m., on the borders of the two departments in the south of France.

Several fire starts were noted, and five canadairs are mobilized to put out the fire.

The gendarmes on the spot decided to evacuate two hamlets, Buffarel and Bellevieille, to put the inhabitants in safety.

For the moment, nearly 300 hectares have gone up in smoke.
