As the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov clarified in an interview with TASS, Russian leader Vladimir Putin will not go to the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in September and does not plan to speak at it.
In July, Russia filed a strong protest against the US authorities for refusing to issue visas to Andrey Krutskikh, the president's special envoy for international cooperation in the field of information security, and some members of his delegation who were heading to the UN.
