This is stated in the order of the head of state.

“Approve the following composition of the Russian delegation to participate in the work of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly: Lavrov S.V. - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, permanent member of the Security Council of Russia (head of the delegation),” the document says.

As the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov clarified in an interview with TASS, Russian leader Vladimir Putin will not go to the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in September and does not plan to speak at it.

In July, Russia filed a strong protest against the US authorities for refusing to issue visas to Andrey Krutskikh, the president's special envoy for international cooperation in the field of information security, and some members of his delegation who were heading to the UN.
