China News Service, August 8 (Xinhua) According to comprehensive Indian media reports, the Indian Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) carried out its first launch mission on the 7th and plans to send two satellites into orbit.

But the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announced hours later that SSLV's debut was a failure, with both satellites failing to enter their intended orbits and failing to function properly.

ISRO said the first three stages of the rocket successfully separated after launch, but there was a data loss in the final stage.

Eventually, the orbits of the two satellites changed from circular to elliptical, so unstable that they did not work properly.

According to the report, the unstable orbit means that the performance of the satellite will be affected, and it may also cause a collision accident, or even cause the satellite to crash on the earth.

Experts say the satellites may have ended up in the waters between Australia and New Zealand.
