A ship carrying grain from Ukraine, whose agricultural exports have been hampered by a blockade by Russian forces, has docked at a port in western Turkey.

Several ships carrying grain have departed from Ukraine one after another, and the focus is on whether this will lead to a full-fledged resumption of exports of agricultural products in the future.

Ukrainian ambassador to Turkey Bodnar announced on the 8th that a cargo ship carrying 12,000 tons of corn from Ukraine has entered the port of Kocaeli in western Turkey.

In Ukraine, exports of agricultural products from the southern ports facing the Black Sea were delayed due to the blockade by the Russian military, but exports were resumed last month after an agreement between Russia and Ukraine brokered by Turkey and the United Nations.

This is the first time a cargo ship loaded with grain from Ukraine has arrived outside the country after the deal.

Since the 1st of this month, a total of 10 cargo ships loaded with grain have departed from Ukraine one after another, and the focus is on whether it will lead to a full-fledged resumption of exports of agricultural products.

On the other hand, regarding the cargo ship that left Ukraine earlier than the ship that arrived and headed for Lebanon in the Middle East, a Lebanese official said, "At this stage, we have not received a call from the cargo ship requesting port entry." , with no prospect of arrival.
