On August 8, the eastern theater continued to conduct practical joint exercises in the sea and airspace around Taiwan Island.
Under the unified command of the theater, a number of destroyers and escorts, a variety of fighter jets, and a number of shore-based firepower units from the sea and the air force in the theater have focused on organizing joint anti-submarine and sea assault operations in accordance with the requirements of consistent combat training and system use of troops.
