According to him, Zelensky, as a well-known character in the Moska fable, is trying to intimidate Russia and at the same time does not pay attention to the opinion and the right to self-determination of the inhabitants of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

The deputy also said that one should not pay attention to the words of Zelensky, who "no longer personally decides anything."

Peskov explained that the plans to hold referendums belong to the residents of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

It also became known that the head of the Zaporozhye region Yevhen Balitsky signed an order to hold a referendum on the reunification of the region with Russia.
