Chinese Foreign Ministry praises US statement about Beijing's sharp reaction to Pelosi's visit to Taiwan

“We cannot allow the US to consider itself the “world policeman” and treat other countries like George Floyd, whom they intimidated and strangled at will,” she wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that China's military maneuvers are disproportionate to Pelosi's "peace visit" to Taiwan and lead to an escalation.

The Chinese Ministry of Defense said that the Chinese army will conduct a series of military measures as a countermeasure in response to Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.
